About the event
November Theme: Lake Superior
Every November, the story of the Edmund Fitzgerald reminds us that Lake Superior holds far more than water.
For our first Non-Fiction Book Club, we're diving into the history, geology, ecology, and people of this extraordinary lake.
Choose any nonfiction book about Lake Superior or an aspect of its story. Explore its shipwrecks, Indigenous history, copper mines, fur traders, islands, wildlife, or the communities along its shores.
Then join us to share what you discovered. Each reader will bring a different piece of the story, and together we'll learn more than any one book could teach us.
