Chuck!

Chuck the Chickadee lives at The Reading Nest. He spends his days checking the shelves, keeping an eye on the Story Tree, and making sure there are plenty of good books around.

He has a habit of wandering, though. If you visit The Little Nest, keep your eyes open, you never know where Chuck might be perched!

Who's in town this week?

Calvin the Cardinal

Calvin is one of Chuck's oldest friends and a frequent visitor to The Nest. A Wisconsin year-rounder, he's cheerful, confident, and just a tiny bit proud of those bright red feathers.

A Little Bird Told Me...
Cardinals stay in Wisconsin all year long — even through our snowy winters.
